Hello,
My brand new PXIe-2746 switch fails the self-test in MAX and returns the following error:
The self test failed.
Error description not found
Error reported by the instrument driver: -240039
I'm on Windows 10, PXIe-1082 chassis, and I'm using the latest versions of the NI PXI Platform Services, as well as NI-SWITCH.
Does anyone know what the error is due to? I can open the Soft Front Panel and switch all the relays - I can hear all of them click which seems to indicate that the board is working properly. I have not yet ordered the required MCX cables so I cannot test the board myself as of now.
Thanks,
Michael

Additional information: I controlled the relays using the NI-SWITCH Soft Front Panel (Schematic tab) and tested the conductivity with a voltmeter. Everything works as expected, so I am not sure why the self-test fails.

Does the PXIe-2746 return the same error in every slot of the chassis?
Could you attach an image of the chassis on NI MAX?

Hi Michael,
It would be great if you sent a screenshot of the self-test so we can check it!

Hi KRojas,
I haven't tried all slots, but I've tried in a hybrid as well as PXIe slot, and the results were the same.
I have attached a screenshot of the PXI chassis slot details in MAX.
Thanks,
Michael

Hello and happy new year everyone!
I have a new element: I ran NI Switch Health Center and got the following error message: no supported NI resources were detected. I checked the help file which indicates that the PXIe-2746 should be supported though.
It looks like this is a driver problem, but since I've already removed and reinstalled the NI SWITCH drivers, I'm not sure what to try.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated!
Best regards,
Michael
