Hi jithuamya,

          You need to first list down list of activities to be done in your project.

For example,

     1)Storing and retrieving of images (or patterns) from a file. The files can be kept as your reference images.

     2)Then Next step might be to scan the iris (which you are doing right now).

     3)Next Major step is search for the scanned image under the folder having the list of reference images. For this step you may have to consider smart algorithms to look for the Matching Image out of large set of images.

     4)Next step would be to display the user details for scanned Iris image (if found) and allow the person to do the voting (some boolean indicator on the screen will do, Later the same can be used to drive some IO line).

     5)Also Consider one more module to Collect the Iris images and personal details of each voter. so that it gets stored in your database.

            Take one task at a time if your are doing the project alone. If not split the task with your team members and do it parallelly.

first of all thank you for your reply sir

     i think i am the one who knows labvivew very well ,when compared to my team mates. so i have the responsibility to complete the labview part in our project.. but i dont know how to Storing and retrieving of multiple images (or patterns) from a specific files and comparing with the extracted image..for this project which type of algorithm or tools i have to use..?  now i was completely blanked.....

        we are struck in this stage ... kidely help us to overcome and to complete our project...

     I'm projecting image in air using Fog screen as a medium(abstract attached). We need small projectors, so please tell us that from where we can get it? Whether NI will provide it or have it from another source. How we should use Arduino or chipKit Uno32 for interfacing with projector? Please suggest.

      For our projecct can we use the Robotic Starter Kit because we need to design a robot which will have a quadrature encoder and it will be present in the Kit also the Ultra Sonic sensor for obstrucle avoidance.

                  you can store images in seperate files and start searching files. If you can install Vision assitant software, there are lot of examples that ships with software can help you to move further. If you want a copy of the software for your project, please follow the same process as mentioned in the above link.
