Hi All,
After entering or adjusting an expression in teststand, i hit the "check expression for errors" checkmark button. If i made a typo or didnt declare a variable, an error warning pops up, so i can adjust the expression.
Is there a way to check all expressions in a sequence file at once?
An error popup states:
---------------------------
Evaluation Warning
---------------------------
Value invalid or out of range.
If you are certain that the expression will evaluate correctly at run-time, you may ignore the error.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
When will the expression evaluation fail at edit time but succeed at run time?
Thanks in advance,
Stef

Stef,
the Sequence Analyzer already includes two tests for this:
- Expression error caused by missing dynamic property (Warning)
- Expression must evaluate to a value of the expected type (Error)
Make sure that both options are tested in your Sequence Analyzer project. Run the analyzer and review the report.

Hi Norbert,
The Sequence Analyzer looks promising. Unfortunately I'm using Teststand 4.1.1. I don't think the "sequence analyzer" is available for this version?

The Sequence Analyzer tool was introduced with TestStand 2010. So 4.1.1 does not provide that tool.
Sorry,
Norbert
