Unistalling TestStand version not deleting all related folders and regedit still shows that

When I uninstall TS version 2017 using NI Package remove, still I see 2017 folder contents in C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\TestStand 2017 also in regedit under Software/NationaInstruments/TestStand/2017 is still seen. I want to remove this completely and not see this in regedit, please suggest how is this posssible?

Not specific to your question, but uninstalling a program will only uninstall what was originally installed, so modified files (e.g. configuration files) will not be touched. How much is really still left in the folder?

There is a reason it is called regedit, because it lets you edit the registry and you can thus manually remove anything you don't like. Be aware that if you don't know what you are doing, you can permanently damage your windows installation, in the worst case if won't even boot anymore.

These leftover registry entries don't hurt anyone or anything, so just leave them in place. No need to bother. Is there any specific reason you absolutely need to remove these entries?
