SyncManager - How to use the data option of the notifier steps

I am trying to use the syncmanager to set a notification with data.  I have verified that I do set a notification with no data by creating a constant for the "dataPropObj" but when I connect data to the "dataPropObj" I crash labview.  I have attached a snapshot of the VI that is causing the problem.

Basicly I want to set this notification and pass a string and a boolean back to a step that is waiting for this notification.  My waitForNotificaion step has container with a string and boolean in the "Location To Store Data" field.
