I installed avast 6 Pro recently and found it slowed down my teststand program. It used to take around 2.5 minutes to finish the whole test sequence. After the installation of this antivirus software, it took 4.5 minutes to finish. Has anyone used avast to protect his/her test stations and found the same slow-down issue? Have you had a solution to this? Do you have any settings to avast that can solve this issue? Please help. Thanks a lot.
Thanks. I found that Behavior Shield gave the most slow-down effect. I deactivated Behavior shiled, Script shield, and File System shield. My test sequence test time is back to normal now.
