How can I programatically change the struct passing property of a created datatype?

If I create a new datatype I can add variables to it using the API. I can call the properties dialog box to change the struct passing property which modifies my FileProperty object. In stead of using this dialog box I want to modify this programmaticaly is this possible, and if how can I do this ?

Unfortunately there is no built-in functionality currently available in the TS 2.0 API to programmatically adjust the struct passing property of a step. If this is of serious concern to your project I recommend that you make direct contact with an NI engineer via email for troubleshooting and personalized recommendations as to how to access these settings.

There is a way by creating an datatype with stuct passing on and cloning it into your new datatype
