Adding Message Popup in Subpanel - Teststand UI

Dear NI Community, 

I am actually working on a TestStand User Interface in LabVIEW. Mine is relatively simple, only used for execution and not for development. I wanted to add a subpanel on it to manage all user interventions. For that, I used the already existing post: Dynamic LabVIEW Subpanel in a TestStand User Interface - NI Community.

This is close to my needs, however I would like to add also the Message Popup step from the insertion palette in this subpanel. As it is not done in this example, I am asking myself if it is possible? And if yes, how could it be implemented?

Message Popup and the LabVIEW OI are different worlds, so it's very unlikely that this is possible.

Yet in theory, you are able to define your own StepType which could do what you want. It'S a cost / benefit question

Thanks a lot for your answer, I will try to take a look at the modification of this Step Type to correspond to my needs.
