Any idea how to fix this.
An error occurred while installing a package: ni-package-manager-upgrader (25.8.0.49292-0+f140)
Additional error information:
• The executable returned error '1' after running the custom execute command 'path='"\\?\C:\WINDOWS\system32\reg.exe"', options='add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\National Instruments\NI Package Manager\CurrentVersion" /v UpgraderExecutableFullPath /t REG_SZ /d "%ni-paths-NIPMDIR64%Updater\Install.exe" /f''.

Additional information.
This is from a fresh install of package manager 2005 Q4, after uninstalling all NI software from my laptop.
I also saw a similar error, when trying to install LabVIEW with an Older version of Package Manager 2025 Q1, when it tried to upgrade to 2005 Q4

Can you check if the registry key already exists in your registry?
reg.exe micght throw an error here if the key is already existing....

It seems the corporate IT policy has disabled registry write permissions.
Temporarily had permissions granted and is now installing correctly.
