Feed URL --> how does NIPM handle user credentials?

Hi,

I tried to set up a temporary sample feed on a SharePoint folder (access via https).

When trying to registering the feed in NIPM (GUI), I get an error status 403 

Looks like the sharepoint server needs credentials which NIPM doesn't support, can anyone confirm?

Oli, my understanding is that Sharepoint does not expose non-credentialed access to files, but I do not know if there are non-default admin settings that might allow, and as you know NI's NIPM does not yet support specifying credentialed access for registered feeds. Supporting credentialed feeds was something that NI was considering for research before I left NI.
