GUI support

Is the Linux RT any different than the previous RT - namely is the target application headless thus there is no front panel support?

rammer,

Yes, Linux RT targets are the same as previous RT targets: a console can be enabled to get a better idea of what's going on in the system/see the IP address, this console is much more useful of course if you know how to work with a Linux system from the command line. There is no direct way to connect a display to these targets, but some of the exciting aspects of the openness and pervasiveness of the OS it is built on is that you can hook up, for example, a USB-based display adapter. You are then free to install additional packages to provide libraries (e.g. Qt) that you can then write code for that talks between your running LabVIEW application and the display application.
