Build Real-Time Application not showing in LabVIEW project

Solved!
Go to solution

Good morning everyone.

Currently I am trying to build a Real-Time executable in my LabVIEW project.

When I right click build specification and select New, 'Real-Time Application' is not showing up.

I do see Package, Packed Library, Shared Library, Source Distribution, and Zip File.

I have the LabVIEW application builder installed and activated. We have a site license and I am licensed for the correct package that I need for RT and FPGA builds.

It used to work until recently. The only thing different is that I installed the 2024Q1 f1 patch.

After installing, I had some issues with the FPGA module not running the compile tools correctly. I re-installed the FPGA module and that seemed to fix it.

Going to try re-installing the RT module and see if that does the trick.

Anyone else see this issue?

Repairing the RT and RIO packages from the package manager seems to have fixed the problem. Looks like installing that f1 patch broke a few things while installing and any modules will have to be 'repaired' afterward.
