simulation settings oscillations

hey

im tring to design a colpitt oscillator with a crytal

i would like to know simulation settings?

im getting the output but its distorted and its takes too long to stable the oscillation

does any one have a idea how to correct this

Hi LIKUI,

When working with crystal oscillator's in spice, it generally runs slow because of some of the limitations of spice. Unfortuantely, not much can be done to make the simulation run faster and it will take some time to get to steady state.
