magnetic core

How do I use the magnetic core (either virtual or not virtual) to model a transformer, and circuit that uses the transformer.  How do I use the non-linear transformer?  What do the pins of the magnetic core connect to.  Are there any examples?  If not can someone provide an example?

The magnetic core can be a little cumbersome to use.I will suggest another component if I can understand your requirements.

What effects are you trying to model (e.g is there coil/magnetising inductance and is this inductance linear? leakage inductance)?

Also, what is the configuration (#of primaries, #of secondaries)?
