frequency measurement using multisim

Hi all

i'm new to multisim and i want to ask about how can we measure frequency of analog signal(ecg) using multisim oscilloscope

Hi there,

 

You can add a measurement probe on a wire to see the frequency displayed.

The measuring probe measures frequency, the video below shows how you can use a probe in Multisim:

hello sir sir i am confused because measurement probe is showing the same frequency at the input and output of bandpass filter....

i want to measure the frequency respone of filters

Hi Rahul,

 

OK, for a bandpass filter, you should use the AC Analysis under the Simulate menu. Another method is to drag a Bode Plotter and connect it to your circuit.

one more question bode plot is not showing any waveform in my circuit i am attaching the multisim file of my circuit if you can check and give me some advice i will be very thankfull to you,as i am going to use this design in my fyp.

Hi there,

 

I do not have the Labview instrument you designed, but on your circuit I find that the way you connect the Bode Plotter might be wrong. The IN terminal of the Bode Plotter should be the stimulus INPUT and the OUT should be the RESPONSE OUTPUT. In your circuit you connect the instrument across C3 which is  a high pass filter. I suggest that you connect the OUT to the Pin 6 of the AD620AN and the IN to Pin 3 or 2  of it(it depends on your labview instrument program)
