Will Multisim support PSpice (encrypted) transient models?

I am trying to simulate an LM1876 OP Amp from Texas Instruments.  TI has PSpice (encrypted) Transient models and TINA-TI Spice models on their web site.

However, I was told by NI's Multisim tech support that Multisim does not support PSpice (encrypted) Transient Models nor does it support TINA-TI Spice models.  It was also suggested that I contact TI's technical support to see if they could give me an unencrypted version of the model.

After contacting them, Texas Instrument Technical support told me that they only provide encrypted / transient models.

Since Texas Instruments is such a large chip manufacturer, does National Instruments have plans to support PSpice (encrypted) Transient Models or TINA-TI Spice models in the future?

Hi Kevin,

Not all models from TI are encrypted; many models from TI can be open with any SPICE simulator.  I don't know for sure why this model in encrypted but I am guessing this model have some non-spice parts which are custom parts unique to TINA or OrCAD.  Just like in Multisim, there are unique that can only work inside Multisim.
