Hello together,
I would like to generate a Gauss function (source/voltage) in multisim
I hope anybody can help me.
Thanks

Hi anm,
I have a solution for you. What you can do is use excel to generate the values for your guassian function. I have attached screen shots with this post.
After making the function, you can copy paste this data into a notepad window and save it as a .txt file.
In Multisim, there is a Piecewise_Linear_voltage source which can use the values from the .txt file as the input.
Then you can use this as the source for your circuit.
Hope this helps.

anm,
My preference is to use a LabVIEW based Multisim VI option (built for Multisim v11). Place the zip contents in the /lvinstruments folder and go from there...
If you like this VI, you'll like my waveform calculator VI for Multisim (https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-17216)
Happy simulating..

Cannot find the LabVIEW instrument "LVInstrIF1000/gaussianpulsev1". The following instrument(s) will not work properly:XLV1??
that means??

Hi anm,
Did you copy paste the two extracted files into the C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite 11.0\lvinstruments directory?
