Frequency counter not working

i'm trying to measure the frequency of the 555timer's output but it does't work.

but ocilloscope works well...

is this bug? or i do something wrong?

What does the two potentiometer do? Can I do only one potentio(the one in the middle)?

Hi ALL,

I have the same problem trying to measure the frequency, of approximately 92 kHz square pulses, generated by a 555 timer. I use Multisim V-14.2 and XFC1 counter. This counter works well with 120Vrms/60Hz source. It measures frequency and period but does not work with 1V/1kHz and/or any other square pulse sources such as 1 kHz/5V or even with 1Vpk/1kHz AC source. Thanks for the help in advance
