Greetings,
We are currently working with Multisim for some simple PCB board design. Unfortunately, nearly all of the manufacturing houses I've contacted require Orcad files to produce the boards. As yet I haven't been able to figure out how to create a compatible output from Multisim. Is such a thing even possible?

Hi Patrick,
It is possible to export the netlist to an orcad file. You can go to Transfer -> Export to Other PCB Layout file and select Orcad .asc file as the file type.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply Tayyab.
I have sent the exported .asc to a number of PCB manufacturers, and so far I've been told they have been unable to import this file into Orcad. I've been told that Orcad expects .dsn files.
Initially we were going to have our layouts done by someone else and we were hoping they would be able to use the schematic we generated in Multisim. I think now we're going to try and do our own layouts in Ultiboard.
