I was using Monte Carlo Analysis tool in Multisim. I could not understand the difference between values of Standard Deviation and Sigma under the Nominal run tab? pls help me out here

Hi,
In the Monte Carlo Analysis, Sigma corresponds to the standard deviation of the pseudo-random simulation variable, while the standard deviation corresponds to the simulation output variable.
For example, if you have a simple voltage divider and you are running a Monte Carlo analysis to find out the effect of changing the value of a resistor on the voltage of a certain node; sigma will be the standarad deviation of the changed values of the resistor while the standard deviation will point out to the node voltages.

Actually, I am not quite sure about how the Sigma is calculated.
I read the user guide.
Seem to me that the description about how Sigma calculate in Monte Carlo is not correct.
Would you please give me some more details about how the sigma is calculated?
