I recently purchased Multisim student version. I ran it a couple of times just messing around with it, however, now that I need to use it for my circuits class it is not working. When I start the program it asks me if i want to create a new file, I click yes, then the background is black and does not look like the version I use at school. Also, there are none of the normal components to use in order to draw a circuit, i.e. resistors, ground, voltage sources, etc. Not sure what is going on. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello sgking,
I think that you are opening another software that is called NI Ultiboard that is part of the NI Circuit Design Suite (Basically a bundle of NI Multisim and NI Ultiboard).
However you can find Multisim in the National Instruments Folder under the Windows Start Menu (I am assuming you are using Windows).
However you can use the NI License Manager (software to manage licensing of NI products), to verify if Multisim is installed.
If this is not the case can you attach a screenshot of what are you seeing?

If Multisim shows a black screen and missing components, try reinstalling the software to fix corrupted files. Ensure you’ve activated the student version properly. Check the View or Options menu to reset the workspace or enable missing toolbars. If the issue persists, contact Multisim support for further assistance.
