which DAQ?

I'm a student looking to do some of my labs at home.  I was wondering if it was best to go with a student USB-600x kit, or to find a cheap used DAQ card on ebay?  The school is currently using PCI-MIO-16E-4 cards.  Is there a cheap card out there compareable to the PCI-MIO-16E-4?

Hi tlytle,

Depending on what functions you will need to use, you can get a card which has that functionality. For basic analog I/O you can use the USB-6008/6009 but if you need other functions such as full counters, you may want to consider another board. You can also check out the academic site to see what other options you have.
