the driver of 6031 can be used for 6229

I have already developed driver for 6031e on c and c++ , Can it be used to communicate with 6229 M or not?

That would depend on whether you use the traditional NI-DAQ driver or the DAQmx driver when you developed your program. The 6031 is supported by both. For the 6229, you can only use DAQmx.

Dennis is correct.  I would just like to add that if you developed your own register level driver for the NI 6031E, it will not be compatible with the NI 6229 as the register map for the NI 6229 is significantly different than the register map for the NI 6031E
