synchronizing using SMB 210 cable

Hi

I have two PXI chassis with me.
In one of the chassis I have a PXI 6653 and in the other I have PXI 6652. I am trying to synchronize this two cards, but while reading the NI-Sync user manual, I found out that I need a SMB-200 and one SMB210 cable. The problem with me now is that I have two SMB-210 cable and no SMB-200 cable.

My question is whether I could use SMB 210 cable as SMB-200 cable by using one of the wire inputs of SMB-210 cable.

Hi,

Yes.  You should be fine using the SMB 210 cable to do what the SMB 200 is supposed to do.  Just make sure that you connect the right two wires.
