"Add Hardware" applet Freezes

Installing LabPC+: loaded NIDAQ6.9, card NOT installed yet, "Add Hardware" cpanel applet FREEZES when you press "Next" after selecting Lab PC+ from the list. REinstall NIDAQ, reboot many times; same result.

I would suggest uninstalling NI-DAQ 6.9 and downloading the latest version from this website, NI-DAQ 6.9.2 and installing it.

Also, try another slot in your computer for the board or a different computer if possible. If you haven't already, take a look at the LabPC+ installation wizard here.

Actually, I used 6.9.2 ; I've tried 4.6.1, 6.1,6.5, etc, all with same result. Only one ISA slot in computer, all other computers I have are PCI only. Guess it's time to get a newer board -- 8 year life is better than most computer stuff I own (but I still use my 1960's-era HP 608C and 141T/8554 RF test equipment!).
