Thanks for your post. So I am going to assume that you are using the 6009 and not a 9006. You can of course use the 6009 without Measurement Studio. Measurement Studio is just an add on that we give some additional graphical and analysis capabilities. All you have to have is the DAQmx driver. I see that you are using DAQmx 7.0. You will need at least version 7.5 or greater to have support for the 6009. You can download the latest driver here with is DAQmx 8.8. Let us know if this is what you were looking for. Make sure to install the example programs when loading the driver.
