problem with driver?

I have a DAQCard-AI-16E-4, and a CD with the NI-DAQ software 6.1. I am trying to use this with a new laptop (windows 98), and it won't recognize it, or find the drivers. I went through your site and downloaded the new drivers, but it still doesn't find any valid drivers for my card.

One thing you can double check is if your Laptop is using the native Microsoft socket drivers or if it's using a third party driver for the sockecs.

You can take a look on the device Manager to check that. In case the native Microsoft drivers are not installed, that might be the cause of the problem.

You can uninstall whatever driver you have and install the Microsoft drivers from the Windows CD.
