no device found

Hi,

The PCI-5122 card shows up in MAX under NI-DAQmx devices, but I still get "no device found" when I try to create a "DAQmx task".

The PCI-5122 card works in all other circumstances. The test panel shows me a valid signal plot.

FGEN and SCOPE softwares also show me valid plots.

Thus I'm wondering why I'm getting this "no devices found" message.

You can't create tasks for the 5122 even though it shows up under DAQmx devices. You can only use the NI-Scope functions for an NI scope card.

5122 showed up under DAQmx devices, creating this confusion.

So I guess NI recommended way to device like 5122, is the NI Scope functions.
