ni card that can measure current up to 10mA

Hello Everyone,

What NI DAQ multifunction card that can measured input current up to 10mA using analog input.

What should be my basis in choosing the right DAQ card? High sampling rate or high resolution?

Any suggestion/recommendation is highly appreciated!

Hi,

Most Multifunction DAQs from NI are suitable for this application! 

As for the trade-off between sampling rate and resolution: I'll suggest a higher priority to resolution as far a DC current signal or an AC current signal (of say 40-60Hz as in power measurement) is concerned. Also, make sure you program the analog input acquisition VI the most narrow input limits dictated by your broadest signal range.

You have to choose a card with sampling rate better than the one suggested by Nyquist Theorem.
