low data sample rate using USB-6009

I hope I've found the right place to post this message.... After searching the forums, I can't find a suitable answer to this question.

I have a USB-6009 acquisition device.  I have five channels of input (voltages, single-point).  I would like to take samples at five minute intervals, but the slowest I can get VI Logger to sample is 1000 per second (1kHz).  Is there a way to reduce the acquisition rate to once a minute, once every five minutes, etc?

VI Logger is going to give you the functionality to access the 6009 hardware and perform some basic data acquisition.  The 6009 should support sample rates of .5 Hz so if you want to take data once every few minutes you may need to do some programming with the DAQmx drivers (using C or Visual Studo or LabVIEW etc.)
