interaction between simulink and GUI

Hello my friends,
I have a problem about the interaction between simulink and a GUI.
first, when i start the simulation, i get immer the following
warning:

Warning: NI-DAQ: Samples put to device are less then fifo size.
Continuous operation may be impossible.

this warning comes from the analog output block of the data aquisition toolbox. when i remove the block, this warning will also disppeared. But I don't understand why it is so. has anyone any idea about this warning?

second, I need to run this model using simulink and at the same
time i need plot some data, these data are some input- and outputdata
of some blocks of the simulink model. but i don't know how can i do
that.

can you give me some tipps?

thanks a lot!

Hello,

the first warning appears due to the internal settings of the FIFO-size in the Data Acquisition Toolkit. Your program will work correctly because in fact it uses the correct FIFO size, but the warning appears anyhow.

For viewing your data you can use an oscilloscope of Simulink.

I would suggest you to have a look at the "DAQmx Tools for The Mathworks, Inc. MATLAB® Software" that you can find at http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3005

As you can see there are possibilities for viewing your data.

Hi,

Can you tell us about what device, what sample rate, and what frame size you're using?

Thanks,
