Hello Ali,
The MATLAB® Data Acquisition Toolbox is a product of The MathWorks, Inc., and support questions for this toolkit should be directed directly to The MathWorks. I cannot help you very much since I am not familiar with the API for this Toolbox.
National Instruments does offer a free alternative, however, which can help you acquire data directly form the MATLAB® software environment:
NI-DAQmx Tools adds a library of commands that you can invoke from within the MATLAB® software environment. In addition to the new library, it also includes many practical examples that show you how to acquire and generate signals, configure your National Instruments hardware, and other useful tasks.
You can learn more and download the free tools at this link:
The second alternative is to combine graphical system development with textual math directly within the software platform LabVIEW.
You can then use the LabVIEW evaluation version (found at ni.com/download and select LabVIEW 8.20 Evaluation Software Download) and reuse or create your text-based math algorithm.
Good luck and let me know how it goes,
Yardov
