Hi;

I need     0-10V     100mA    100-600 Hz sinus or square wave signal.

I want to use NI-6024 E analog outputs for this aim.

But its output current is not necessary and I dont know output frequency capability.

How can I do it?

Could you offer a circuit or IC for connect DAQ card analog output or another solution

Best Regards

Hi kadikoy,

Welcome to the NI Discussion Forums! First, let me answer a few of the questions you have about your card.

The PCI-6024e has a maximum update rate of 10 kS/s and a maximum current output of 5mA.  This and additional information about the card can be found here:

NI PCI-6024E

NI PCI-6024E Specifications

The device pinouts for this card can also be found in the links above.  The device pinouts will show you which pins to connect to.  Typically, the PCI-6024e is connected with a 68 pin cable to a terminal block.  The terminal block has screw terminals that will allow you to connect your wires to the various pins on the card.

Will you be using LabVIEW to program this device?  If you are, there are several example programs that have already been written for analog output.  To run these examples you will need to have LabVIEW and the NI-DAQmx device driver installed.  To find these examples open LabVIEW and then go to Help >> Find Examples.  In the NI Example Finder one way to find analog output examples is to navigate to Hardware Input and Output >> DAQmx >> Analog Generation >> Voltage and look through the available examples.

Hi I will use own software for this aim.

Also I must use BNC type connector block...

for the arising of current i will plan using MOTOROLA MC34119 Type amplifier IC.

I will enter analog output (BNC type) to IC input.

What is your opinion, is there a problem my preplan?

Best Regards.

Hi kadikoy,

It sounds like you are headed down the right path.  Depending on what software you use to program you DAQ card you may be able to save yourself some time by finding some example programs.

Doing a search at ni.com may turn up some good example programs to get started.  Good luck with your application.
