What is DAQ system error? How does an error occur? (What could go wrong?)

When I write the error out of daqmx on to a text file ( I am actually logging the errors), some negative values are logged. How does the system (VI) identify such values?

 

Hope my questions are understandable.

I'm assuming you are using LabVIEW based on your previous posts. If true, just go to the help menu when the pretty clear item Explain Error is.
