Hi,

you speak of PCI-MIO-16E-1 card.

This card is supported in both Traditional DAQ and DAQmx.
Attached are Vi's which do simulaneous AI and AO in traditional and DAQmx respectively.

After opening the VI, for instructions on how to configure and run the VI, select : File >> VI Properties >> Documentation

Hope this answers your query
Any doubts do mail

regards
Dev

In LabVIEW 6, open the example finder (Help>Find Examples). From the Browse tab, select Hardware Input and Output>DAQ>Simultaneous Analog IO. There are some examples there for doing analog in/out. If there are subVIs missing, then it would because you don't have NI-DAQ installed. That would be a necessary first step for you to do.

Your board shipped with some documentation. In the documentation is the pinout of the board. Pins called ain (ai0, ai1, etc), are analog inputs. Pins called aon (ao0, ao1,) are analog outputs. If by "green board", you're talking about a board with screw terminals, this board would be connected to your DAQ baord with a ribbon cable. Pin1 on ther termination board corresponds to pin1 of your DAQ board. Determine which analog inputs and outputs you want to use and the input configuration (i.e. differential, RSE, etc.) and make the physical connections on the terminal board. If you can't find the documentation for your board, you can go to http://www.ni.com/support/ and do a search for it.
