Windows XP (Pro) and NI-DAQ

Hello,

I have a Windows XP Pro box with a 6013-E and thus NI-DAQ 7.3.0 + MAX 3.1.

Within MAX, logged in as part of "users", the testpanel is not accessible.
A CVI program using DAQ returns error -10240 (e.g. Get_NI_DAQ_Version).

It works when logging in as a power user.

Any ideas?

that seems to be a security problem. Login as a poweruser and go to the MAX folder within Programs/national Instruments.
right click on the MAX folder, choose the security tab and set all the available rights for everyone or the specifix user.
Klick ok and login as the user.

I just changed the registry as mentioned in the KnowledgeBase.
Didn't thought of the directory...

Now it's working.
