While loop and for loop

Hi:

I have a question on while and for loop. Can I put something into either of this loop so that when the current meter is acquiring 0.04ma, it will not loop until stop or need to press stop button in a while loop? It can automatically stop the loop. Do you thing it can do that or it need to wail until the for loop time second is over or someone press the stop in the while loop. Is there any loop in Labview can do what I am saying? Is not, pls let me know. I need to be sure to do my project.

I am in a very urgent. I really need a quick reponse.Thanks!

That's a pretty basic question. The while loop will stop when the conditional terminal (the square in the lower right) recieves the correct  Boolean value. The correct Boolean value can be from any condition you want - a stop button, an error, a measurement comparison, etc. It will loop until something is either true or false. You can just click on the contitional terminal to change it from stopping on a true or false (or right click on it and select). It is up to you to determine what that something is. I would recomend you go to http://www.ni.com/devzone/lvzone/fundamentals.htm and check out some of the on-line tutorials.

0.04mA = deja vu of deja vu. But it looks as if progress is being made on the test fixtureSmiley Happy.

Keep up the good work Dennis, and congrats on >6K

I had forgotten that Nyborn=Wang.

It's Devchander that deserves all of the congratulations for doing so much in the thread at http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=250&message.id=17378.

You said, "But it looks as if progress is being made on the test fixtureSmiley Happy."

But then Nyborn just posted that question about whether it is better to use a computer.
