Using same DAQ device with more than one PC

Dear LabVIEWers,

I have a question that is related to the data acquision using more than one PC. I want to use a single DAQ multifunction board for sharing with more  than one PC. Specifically, I have three clones of an experimental setup which I need to connect to a single DAQ board, which in turn needs to be connected to three PCs. Is this possible ? I look for solutions other than RDA-based data acquisition. What all hardwares do I need to do it?

Hello Zacharia,

It sounds like you would be interested in NI-DAQmx OPC Capabilities.  If you have LabVIEW 8.0 it's very easily done with the Network-Published Shared Variable. 

The requirements to use NI-DAQmx OPC Capabilities are a hardware board that uses NI-DAQmx, which you can find using the NI-DAQ Driver Support page or by talking with one of NI's Sales Reps.
