Hi all, I am a final year university student and am carrying out a project on automating a system. As part of this, I am utilising a NI USB 6001 to operate two NEMA 17 stepper motors with A4988 motor drivers. However, I am extremely new to LABVIEW and data acquisition, so I have a few questions:
- How can I ensure that I have the correct voltage and current throughout each of the components in the setup?
- Do I need separate power supplies for the motor and the logic sides of the circuit?
- Is there a way to simultaneously drive the stepper motors and record the data for analysis?
Any help on the above issues would be greatly appreciated
