Stack Sequence Structure

Hi Devchander:

Am I using the stacked Sequence Structure right?
WHat I am trying to do is 1) Show the voltage and current value
2  Show the waveform on multfectch program
                                            3) Show another waveform on multifect program in different parameter.
Am I doing it right, not use the flat sequence structure or case struture. What do you think? Could you please give me some suggestion.

Another thing is the tab control, Is it better to jump automatically when one test is finished like pressing "Enable" butotn" Show the test and fail light and then jump to another tab automatically. What do you think? Is it possible to do it? Do you have better suggestion?

Company really urges me. That is why they changed without using the push buttom in LabVIEW

Hi,

Had a look at ur Vi

It will the following

Acquire from the NI SCOPE's two channels

and does a continous DAQ card acq(Once again, i repeat that the  DAQ acq you have wirten is not effecient since you are configuring and reading in each loop Refer to any of our previous discussions where we have spoken about this at length)

the way u have put sequence outside while loop will not ensure wheather the sequence or the while loop

So keep a condition like shown, connect error out from sequence 2 to left of while loop if you want  sequence to execute first and then run the while loop.

About your second query, sorry i do not understand your explanation quite correctly

Regards

Dev

Hi Devchander :

Attached is my new program that I add light into it. I am doing continous acquistion. I think this is right this time.

Then I put NI5112 Multifetch program to generate the shock pulse waveform on the same channel by pressing different push buttons on the fixture.

First, pressing "BarK" pushbutton

Second, pressng "Test" Pushbutton.

Do you think I use the stack sequence structure in the better idea rather than others? As you know I have a while loop. It should execute firest. Do you think I also should put it in the stack sequencec? Case Structure might not be good idea, am I right? I am not sure.

Hi Devchander :

Attached is my new simple program. I found the digital in current meter is 0.033, 0.034, 0.035 changed very rapidly. If I used DMM, it will stay very stable at 0.033ma for at least 10 second. This program is taking the average as you know for making like a DMM. Could you please tell me why?

for a display to be percieved and registered by the user, its better that it does not change/ flicker very rapidly, hence the averaging.

i you do not want to do averaging, you would display the whole array of values that you have acquired or just index out one value from teh array  and show it.

Hi Devchander:

I sent you a message two days ago in different subject.  I have not received it yet. I don't know what is happening. That is why I sent it here.

I have a question I would like to ask the value that display in current meter and voltmeter when I press reset button on my test fixture. How come it will not show 0 all the time? Attached is my program and the document that I capture in the real situation.
I think it is much easier for you to understand my question.
