SCB-68A weird reading

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I have a PXIe-6363 and a SCB-68A.

I want to use RSE terminal configuration so that I can utilize all the AI pins separately.

I have soldered resistors from positive channels in B and D pads to AI ground for signal conditioning.

My input is coming from AO0 and I use a common ground for AO ground and AI ground (keep in mind there is a resistor between each AI pin and the AI ground).

The problem is when I try to measure the voltage across any resistors some form of noise appears.

The noise intensity reduces when I increase the input voltage.

The noise disappears completely when I measure the voltage across a capacitor.

I have fully grounded the unit but still have some noise.

When I perform FFT on the recorded signal it shows a peak at 60Hz, but it doesn't make any sense.

everything is grounded.

Please if you have any idea help me.

I would appreciate it.
