Remote DAQ application

To Whomsoever It concern :

I am at present working on an application, which requires to switch on a motor from a remote machine and start collecting data. The data collection part works fine, but the triggering from the remote client to the server is causing all the trouble.

Can anyone throw some light on this aspect.

I can not speak for others but it would be very helpful if you posted an example of what is not working.

With the info you have provided, I can only say that "Something must be wrong!"

I am sure we can do better that that if you give us more info.

Hello;

You didn't provide much information about your setup, however you can double check some things there.

The first important thing is to guarantee that both machines are running the same version of NI-DAQ, preferably, 6.9.3.

Second, make sure the machines can see each other fine on the Network.

Finally, try to run one of the shipping examples that shows how to do a triggered AI task.
