Receive Error -200329 w/ DAQ 6052E

I have a brand new 6052E board, running in a Win XP box with LabView 7.0 and DAQmx, which is also connected to an SCC box. When I first started using the DAQmx test panels, I was able to receive signals using the test. I have since attempted to connect one SCC-TC02 module with a Type J thermocouple to J1, and now none of the AI's will work--I receive the following error:

Error -200329, Error has occurred while attempting to configure the device for analog input.

It goes on to ask about external timing devices (which I don't have), and if there was no problem there, to contact National Instruments.

Previous to this problem, I would receive Buffer Overflow errors with the default test panel configuration. Repeated shutdowns,
powerdowns and restarts have failed to restore functionality, whether or not I maintained the connection to the SCC box.

I have failed to find any documentation on this particular error. Is this operator error or hardware failure?

Thanks,

Jay Michael

I met the similar problem. When I tried to start the test panel, the error -200329 was generated.
Does anyone has the solution to this kind of problem? Does that mean the 6025E board was broken?
Thank you in advance!

I ended up calling tech support, they had me run the following online utility: http://www.ni.com/support/selftest/ . My board failed the counter check, so I had to send it in for repair. It had to be replaced.

Good luck!
