Problems remote accessing a 6052-e using Delphi

We have two computers running Windows XP linked by a 1394 Firewire connection. One of them has a PCI 6704 card, and the other has a 6052-E, and they both can be read successfully when using the Remote Device Access Server (6.9.3, as we are not sure on compatibility with Delphi of later versions). The problem we have with this setup is that when using Delphi code (instead of the Measurement and Automation testing stuff), we can not read the 6052-E installed in the remote computer, although the remote computer can talk to the 6704. At first we thought it could be related to the firewall, but we have discarded this too.

Hi JKaranka,

There is a lot of info on setting up RDA on the website, it's well worth going through these setup procedures to double check eveything is working ok.
I must admit you are the first person I have heard of running the RDA across a firewire link. It should be compatible if you are ruinning through the TCP/IP protocol.
