PXIe 6363 signals not working in MAX test panel

I am not able to see analog input or digital output signals of my PXIe 6363 in MAX.  The card is recognized by MAX, passes self-test, and is re-settable through MAX and the test panel runs but I get no response from analog inputs or digital outputs.  I get no errors and no broken devices on the Devices tree in MAX. I am using a scb68 terminal block and it shows up in the configuration tab.  I have 7 other PXIE 6363/scb68 combos in the same rack that work perfectly.  This is a system that has been running for a few years although this may be the first time this 6363 has been accessed.

Any ideas?

Hi do-loop,

Does this particular 6363 card work in other slots of the same chassis? Which slot are you trying it in?

Additionally do you have another chassis you can try placing the card in to see if the issue still follows the card?

Have you tried this for different channels on this 6363, perhaps only specific channels aren't working.

Also do the Analog Out and Digital IN functions work on this device?

For the digital outputs are you measuring the output with a DMM?

Alex G,

Thank you for your reply.  I have located the problem and it was not directly related to the PXIe 6363.  There is a PXIe 4353 with a full complement of 32 22ga. thermocouples installed on a TB 4353 connector block in the adjacent slot.  The bulk of the thermocouple wires had put a side load on the TB 4553 connector block and was making contact with the SHC68-68-EPM cable connector in the 6363 and causing it to lose connection. The encroachment was actually very subtle making it difficult to diagnose.

Everything is working properly now.
