Hello,
I am using the PCMCIA DAQ-6062E connected to the SC-2345. When I open Measurement and Automation Explorer, under "Devices and Interfaces", I don't see the DAQ card listed.
DAQ Drivers that have been installed:
- DAQmx 7.5
- Traditional NI-DAQ 7.2
Solutions I've tried:
- Right clicking and selecting "Create New..." but the DAQ card isn't listed in the list that pops up. When I select the SC-2345, the configuration utility that appears has the field 'Cabled Device' but only the option "none" inside of it. Therefore, when I try to configure the SC-2345 and press OK, I get an error saying there is no digitizer.
- Going into the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Enum/ISAPNP/ but there is only a folder titled "ReadDataPort", the DAQ card is not listed under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Enum/PCMCIA/ either.
- When I go into Device Manager, and say "Scan for hardware changes" on the PCMCIA drive, I get a pop-up that says I have ejected a device (NIPALK) before properly stopping it (Windows 2000). Each time I press "Scan for hardware changes" it gives me this popup. It also does this for my collegue's 6062E. The pop-up leads me to believe the card is detected by the system but I don't get any "Add New Hardware" utilities that come up, nor do I see the DAQ card in the NI software.
Please help!
