PCI-6036E card, 250KS/s with 16 AI channels

Hello

I'm using PCI-6036E Card for data acqusition. We know this card has 16AI channels. Sampling rate rated is 250KS/s.

Suppose if i use all the 16 AI channels for data acquisition, then what might be the sampling rate of each AI channel?

Is it like 250 /16 = 15.6KS/s per each channel or each channel can acquire 250KS/s?

Hi Kirit,

the device that you are using is an E-Series card that has one single ADC.

All channels are multiplexed to that ADC and you can have 200k AD conversions per second,

meaning that you will have 200/16 kS/s when reading all channels.

If you need simultaneous sampling you can go for an S-Series or some of the new X-Series cards.
