We also do Ethernet, and have a couple new interfaces in the works, but we only make external devices and no internal cards.

Just to close the loop here, NI-PAL is a shared library used by other drivers. Currently NI-PAL does not support OS X 10.6 K64, so as sth mentioned it's expected you'll be getting these errors. We're currently working on getting support in this library, and once that happens we'll look at providing support with other drivers as well.

Ali, didn't Joe just announce this two weeks ago in this thread? Is this a different version?

I believe this is the version that was announced.
I've not yet had a chance to test it with my USB DAQ hardware.
NI is amazingly fast, too!
It only took them a year from the introduction of Snow Leopard to support it!

Does NI-PAL yet support OSX 10.6K64? It's 2011 and I've been waiting a long time.

No unfortunately. I have installed the latest VISA. As you can see there are only two architectures supported by the nipalk driver. ppc and i386

Just wanted to chime in here. Mac OS X 10.6 *Server* boots to the 64-bit kernel. All kexts have to be 64-bit, but it can run 32-bit applications. When I try to install NI-DAQmx Base, I'm instantly told "NI-DAQmx Base 3.4.0 can't be installed on this computer. Switch to a 32-bit kernel before installing this software."
Any tips on installing on Snow Leopard server? I'm able to install on my Snow Leopard laptop successfully.
I've got a USB-6501 that I'm trying to reach. I would be happy to develop to it using tty if possible but it doesn't seem to be accessible that way.
EDIT: In next post I mention how I am mistaken here.
