Hallo, I'm experiencing a lot of issues when trying to setup the cDAQ-9184.
I have a Windows 11 Pro PC with latest NI Package Manager: I have installed NI-DAQmx 16.0.1 (because of compatibilty with LabView 2013), NI-VISA 2024Q3, Ni-488.2 2024Q3 and related packages (nimax configuration etc).
I connected the cDAQ-9184 chassis trough ethernet directly with the PC (no hub, switch or company firewalls in between).
On Ni-MAX I select Devices & Interfaces->Network Devices->Find Network cDAQ Devices... then I select the cDAQ from the dialog.
The device is correcty listed under Network Devices but installed modules are not listed (3 of 4 slots are populated),
running self-test or reset result in an error -51050 (or something similar).
I'm also experiencing some issues also with login (Admin/blank password), often result in a "Failed to connect to login service"....
The same cDAQ on different PC works fine.
I need to install some specific packages from NI?

I hope you understand that you're dealing with software combination that NI doesn't officially support

You need at least DAQmx 2022 Q3 to officially work with Win11 and 9184
Why not upgrade to a compatible LV version or downgrade to OS that is compatible with LV 2013 and DAQmx 16.0 if that is a constrain?

Because Win10 is not supported by Microsoft by Oct 2025. And our IT dept will not provide new PC with Win 10.
We had planned to upgrade to LV 2025 and its toolchain, but procurement is on hold, yet work MUST continue.
I need to check if the "working" PC is running Win10 or Win11, but I'm pretty sure we have a other workging
PCs with Win11 and DAQmx 16.0.1.
We're also using Report Toolkit on Office 365, which isn't guaranteed to work, but it works.
And on the "working" PCs, running Win10 or Win11, connecting/configuring that cDAQ has always been a problem, I can't remember which issue we have been into but I remeber the need of connecting/disconnecting cDAQ and resetting it.
My question is... is there anything else I should check to make sure I have all the prerequistes needed to get it working?

BTW Which is the 'oldest' version of LV that supports NI-DAQmx and Win 11?
