NI-DAQmx 8.6: error code 0x80004005 ??

I for some reason can't export my Max file, as I get the error above when selecting either of the last two choices ( .ini or .txt). I also get an "Export error" pop-up when I select ".nce" choice. It says Unable to write to file C:\..... on my harddrive?? I read a link that fellow had same issue and he was told that Max may be corrupt so I did as requested and "repaired" Max, still get same errors. I want to put the Max file in my project is there any other way to do this??

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

You may also want to try repairing your DAQmx driver installation.

If that doesn't fix the problem, please tell me some more information:
  1. At what point does the .ini/.txt error happen? Can you select which device data you want to export, but the export operation fails? Are you able to click the 'Save report' button in the export wizard? If you can provide that, it may shed some light on what is causing this.
  2. Which options are you choosing to export -- would you mind providing a screen shot of what you're trying to export? Attach a file that shows the complete expanded tree and which boxes have check marks. Can you export a very simple configuration with only one option selected?
  3. For the .nce file write error, what is the full path? Do you have write permissions for the destination folder?
